Return & Refund Policy

15-Day Return Policy

Returns accepted within 15 days of delivery

1. Standard Return Window

You have 15 calendar days from the date of delivery to initiate a return for eligible items. Items must be unused, in original condition and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase. Returns initiated after 15 days will be declined and returned to you at your cost.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following may not be returned: activated digital products and SaaS subscriptions; perishable food items; redeemed gift cards and membership codes; opened personal care products; items marked "Final Sale"; custom or personalized orders; and intimate apparel for hygiene reasons.

3. Refund Timeline & Method

Once received and inspected, approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days. Cash on Delivery refunds are issued by check or bank transfer within 7–10 business days. Credit card refunds appear within 3-5 business days after processing. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

4. Return Shipping Responsibility

Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the item is defective or shipped in error. We recommend using a trackable carrier. We are not responsible for lost returns. For defective items, we will provide a prepaid shipping label within the US.

5. Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective or damaged item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We will arrange a replacement or full refund including original and return shipping. Failure to report within 48 hours may limit remedies.

6. Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be granted for items not in original condition, missing parts, or returned after 15 days but before 30 days (store credit only). Refunds for partial returns are prorated based on the item's original price.

7. Exchanges

For exchanges of size or color, please return the original item and place a new order. This ensures faster processing. Direct exchanges are available only for identical items with manufacturing defects. Contact support for assistance.

8. Restocking Fees

A 15% restocking fee may apply for returns of electronics, large furniture, or bulk orders over $500. The fee will be deducted from your refund. No restocking fee applies to defective items or our shipping errors.

9. How to Initiate a Return

Log into your account, go to Order History, and click "Return Item(s)". Follow the instructions to print a return authorization. For guest checkouts, email returns@happycartstore.com with your order number. Do not mail items without authorization.

10. International Returns

For international orders, return shipping costs and customs duties are your responsibility. Please mark the package as "Returned Goods" to avoid additional fees. Refunds for international returns may take up to 20 business days due to customs.

11. Gift Returns

If you received an item as a gift, you may return it for store credit in the amount of the current selling price. The original purchaser will not be notified. Please indicate "gift return" when initiating. A gift receipt is helpful but not required.

12. Seasonal & Holiday Returns

Items purchased between November 1 and December 25 have an extended return window until January 15. This applies only to regular return-eligible items. Final sale items are still non-returnable. The 15-day window for other periods applies as usual.

13. Bundles & Promotions

If you return part of a bundle or buy-one-get-one offer, the discount may be recalculated. You may be refunded less than the proportional price. For free items returned, no refund is issued. Promotional credits used are forfeited.

14. Subscription Cancellations

Monthly subscriptions can be canceled anytime before the next billing cycle. No refunds for partial months. Annual subscriptions: refunds prorated minus a 20% cancellation fee. Contact support for subscription returns.

15. In-Store Returns

Items purchased online may be returned to our physical store in USA. Bring the order confirmation email. In-store returns are processed immediately to your original payment method. No restocking fee for in-store returns.

16. Return Inspection Process

All returns are inspected within 3-5 business days of receipt. We check for usage, damage, missing parts, and original tags. If the item fails inspection, we will contact you to arrange return shipping at your expense or disposal with no refund.

17. Refund Denials & Appeals

If your refund is denied, you will receive an email explanation. You may appeal within 30 days by providing additional evidence or requesting a secondary inspection. Appeals are reviewed within 10 business days. Final decisions are binding.

18. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you file a chargeback without attempting to return the item per our policy, we may dispute the charge with your bank. Please contact us first to resolve any issues. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account suspension.

19. Warranty Returns

Some products include manufacturer warranties beyond the 15-day return period. For warranty claims, contact the manufacturer directly or email warranty@happycartstore.com. Warranty returns follow separate procedures and are not governed by this policy.
